New Wave Tributes is a collaborative of professional musicians with a passion for 80's New Wave / Synth Music
We offer proper and faithful recreations, playing tribute to many iconic acts. Some of which, have played the various 80’s tours, offering only a select few songs, as they get squeezed in with five or six other bands in a single night. You’ll get the hits, as well as some fantastic album tracks and even the occasional “B Side”, as they were called back in the day! Some of the best music and fashion came out of an incredible blip on the radar, between 1979 and 1984. In that time, we experienced the death of disco, turning of a decade, birth of MTV and one of the 80’s most incredible music and cultural events, the US Festival. With gender bending, eye catching fashion, New Wave was far more than a passing fad. It was a lifestyle. Relive it, if only for a night!!
